PRESS: Potanin’s Interros to develop cloud, blockchain technologies

MOSCOW, Nov 29 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Interros Group finds cloud technologies and blockchain as interesting, the group’s founder and President Vladimir Potanin told in an interview with business daily Vedomosti on Wednesday.

“Everything that is involved in the digital economy, cloud technologies and their servicing. Everything related to blockchain technologies,” Potanin said when asked about directions the tycoon finds appealing.

“And we…Interros…will deal with the projects about digitalization and blockchain. In order to get some experience in this sphere, we made certain investments in the U.S. and watched how data-centers function. We’ve gained some experience over 10 years. We’re waiting for the period in Russia when we’ll be able to effectively apply it.”
